Amy Swanson
Amy
Swanson, an editor of Trafficology.com and co-founder of the
web development firm Internet of New England, specialize in
showing businesses how they can use the Internet to help
customers and achieve their long-term strategic goals. In
1996 she studied economics at the University of Vermont (UVM).
Amy has worked as a Webmaster an Information System
Consultant for Operation LifeSaver. Amy returned to UVM to
finish her degree in Business & MIS.
Amy discovered that what businesses really need, are
websites that provide better service and fulfill the wants
of their customers. So she and
Dearl Miller co-founded Internet of New England with the
mission of showing companies that they don't need brochure
websites that look pretty - they need functional websites
that make money. Since then, Dearl and Amy have focused
their efforts on teaching companies unique and innovative
ways to be successful online. Specifically they teach small
businesses how they can compete with, and in many cases beat
their biggest competition. While Amy's focus is working with
small businesses, She has served as a data collection
manager for Opinion Research Corporation and also do
database work for the Department of Homeland Security. |
